First post of the blog

Hello Everyone,
Wow, I just created a blog in seconds using my new Windows 8.1 touch enabled machine. Now I need to install apps on my machine, but windows store is bloated with crapwares and adwares. So I spent a lot of time finding apps for my use. But there is no single website on Internet which has comprehensive up to date list of every apps being published in Windows Store, obviously without crapwares. I have found websites but they are very limited to few apps(best ones). I was looking for a feed of newly released Windows Store apps so, that I can easily judge and own it. But these is no such website. So I decided to create this blog, so that people like me can subscribe to this blog and get benefited.
Yes, Windows Store is full of crap. But can judge crap just by its appearance so it is not a big issue. You may then ask then why I purchased a notebook with windows 8.1. The reasons are as following:
  1. I am already familiar with Windows environment, because
    1. I have lots of batch files
    2. I know how to hack registry
    3. I have lots of Auto Hot Key scripts to automate my tasks
    4. I have put lot of time learning how to tweak windows
    5. I know keyboard shortcuts.
  2. I am already familiar with MS Office 2013, and Windows 8.1 for notebook includes MS Office 2013 Home and Student Students out of the box.
  3. Fresh Paint (Free app from Microsoft) awakened the artist with in me at first sight.
  4. My main purpose of using this machine was to read pdf files and annotate them while roaming around, and it serves the purpose well.
  5. It has MS Onenote, my favourite software. MS OneNote is available in other devices, but those features are nothing compared to features available in OneNote desktop. e.g. One can install macros in OneNote desktop version.
  6. Prefer being offline, to work in distraction free environment, whereas other alternatives become handicapped as I disconnect them from internet.
  7. I have college subscription to MSDN, so I can install selected Microsoft software free of cost for testing and development purpose.
  8. I can run Mathematica on my notebook. It works well for my needs.
  9. I can boot with other Operating system from pen drive if I needed.
  10. I can emulate Android with the help of BlueStack or Windoid, if I needed android urgently.
  11. It supports plugging in my 1 TB Backup Plus ultraportable segate external hard drive. Android tablets or ipad do not support plugging in external hard drive, because these drive consumes power more than threshold value.
  12. I prefer keyboard over mouse to do anything (because it is faster), so a 10 inch notebook is better choice for me than a 10 inch tablet.
  13. I have license of Visual Studio 2013 ultimate (from MSDN), so I can create my own app if required.
  14. Windows store is growing as I am learning more about technology.
  15. I have suit of best portable software, which I build over long time.
  16. It belongs to same species of PC or Laptop or Notebook.
